Hello.
I don’t know if this is the right place (a right page) to post my comment, but I have a question. I would like to know where I should go to register my new born child. I’m relatively new in this area (precisely Norton). Thanks for any information.
Congratulations on your new baby!
By law you must register a baby’s birth within 42 days. The registration itself will take approximately 20 minutes. There are two register offices in Ryedale – at Malton and at Pickering. These are both open part-time, so you will need to make an appointment.
Go to http://www.ryedale.gov.uk/council_and_democracy/births.aspx or ring 0845 034 9483 to check opening times and to make an appointment.
Good luck!
Thank you of the info.
How did you get on with the registration process? Let us know!
