November meeting of ‘Ryedale Together’

The next Ryedale Together meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 18 November – if you’d like to come please reply to this post and I’ll let you have more information.

You are invited… to stop hate in Ryedale

You are invited to an event that will launch and publicise Ryedale’s Hate Incident Reporting Centres.

A Hate Incident Reporting Centre is a place in the community where you can go to tell someone if you have suffered abuse, violence, or name-calling, or if your property has been damaged because of where you come from, the colour of your skin, or the religion you follow.  This is so that we can learn what sorts of ‘hate incidents’ are happening in Ryedale and do something to stop them.

The event is on Thursday 8 October at Malton Rugby Club on Old Malton Road.  It starts at 10.00 and finishes at 2.00, and lunch will be provided.

The event is free and everyone is welcome.  Please email christine@rva-cvs.org.uk if you would like to attend or to ask for more information.

For more information about the Centres in Ryedale, go to the ‘Live here’ page of this blog.
